I’ve been interested in poetry for some time now, partly inspired by Stephen Fry’s wonderful book on prosody (the study of poetic meter),
The Ode Less Travelled. We can borrow the principles of versification to improve the most prosaic prose (!) by giving it more rhythm, cadence and ‘swing’.
